Liliana Alfaro is an artist and photographer born and raised in Chicago, IL. In 2017, she earned her BA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago. She is the recipient of several scholarships and awards, including the Albert P. Weisman Award and the Kodak Professional Photography Scholarship. Her work has been widely exhibited throughout Chicago, including the C33 Gallery and The Arcade Gallery. Alfaro works as a lead teaching artist at Marwen, a non-profit arts organization that educates and inspires young people from under-resourced communities and schools. She also does freelance work as a photographer and photo assistant. Past clients include Marwen and Irregular Girl.
